Club Meeting Attendance - 1 pt Regularly attending club meetings is a great way to stay up-to-date and involved in Tri-M! Students receive 1 pt for each meeting they attend. If you need to miss a meeting for any reason, notify the club president and they will catch you up on what you missed.
Concert Attendance - 1 pt Students receive points for attending musical performances (e.g. choir concerts, marching band competitions, musicals, ballets, solo recitals etc) as audience members. This does NOT include pop/rock concerts, halftime shows at sporting events, movies, etc. This category is admittedly very ambiguous, so if you are unsure if an event qualifies, consult Mrs. WK. Click here for a list of local concert attendance opportunities.

Ushering - 2 pts Ushering (passing out programs and helping people find their seats) at the Tennessee Philharmonic Orchestra concerts (or elsewhere) is a great way to serve the community as a member of TRI-M. You also earn 2 points every time you usher, and the TPO offers you a free ticket to their program that evening! This also does NOT include paid performances or gigs.
Outside of School Ensemble Participation - 3 pts One great way for students to grow their musicianship is to participate in additional musical ensembles outside of school (e.g. marching band, youth symphony, community choir, community musical theatre, etc). So, if you participated in a music-related activity, not listed above, sometime from June 2022 to now, for which you feel you should receive points, consult Mrs. WK and she can negotiate something with you. This line on the points sheet can also serve as an overflow line for other, listed points opportunities.
